The number of road traffic accidents and fatalities is disproportionately high in this region. We are working with the UK Department of Transport to emphasise important life-saving skills for pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, motorists (on and off road) and lorry drivers. It is our hope that by distributing this information in Tibetan the number of fatal accidents will be reduced.
